Digital Project Manager
I was born on the seaside, and for years I worked on marine platforms, where I learnt project management through its application to extremely complicated problems. Meanwhile, I spent the nights studying and eventually I became an engineer. The "liquid modernity" ferried me to the ultimate frontier of navigation: the web. I became a specialist in digital project management and, in this way, I could also set my humanistic inclinations free. In fact, in this field calculation, thinking and creativity merge, creating the most complete form of communication ever devised.
Sometimes feeling Dadaist, at other times Decadent, I long for study, travels and discoveries. Tennyson’s Ulysses perfectly embodies my personality. Soon in my life, I realize that manuals can teach little compared to the crews sailing out in the real world. I am fascinated by the variety of individual talents and by the way these can work together and lead a team to succeed. I love animals, the autumn and reversible processes. I really don’t like the lack of precision and humility. I long for the quiet as well as for the storm.

I was born in 1985, and as I grew up I began working as a journalist and a copywriter. I graduated in Philosophical Methodologies, with a Master thesis exploring Anthropology and dealing with the relationship between the Self and Others. I lived in Berlin for a while, then I moved again and worked in a web agency in Hamburg. There, I first met the Search Engine Optimization. If you consider that I learned it in German, you will easily realize how much I enjoy facing new challenges. I worked for multinationals and start-ups, but what I like the most are the small companies with great stories to tell.
Ask my childhood friend and she will confirm: back then, my favorite games included making up advertising campaigns and performing parodies of TV commercials. The arrival of our first modem at home brought infinite joy to me and highest utility bills to the family. The hypertext is one of those things which make me extremely happy. I hate wastefulness, I don’t eat meat, I love travelling and I live in a two-room flat with increasing entropy.

Giulia Barisone
Art Director & Web Designer
I was born in Genoa in 1989. Ever since I was a little girl I loved to draw and to depict my thoughts and ideas with lines and colours. This growing passion for art and graphics led me to graduate in Industrial Design at the University of Genoa, and later to specialize in Communication Design at the Politecnico of Milan. I worked as a freelance graphic designer in several agencies in both cities. As I see it, the communication designer’s task is to shape different lenses through which reality can be observed and explored: listening to the stories of people, becoming part of the narrative and finally telling it.
I love to learn and to experiment, and I couldn’t bear even the mere idea of doing a repetitive job for the rest of my life. I always enjoyed creating and building things or, as they say, getting my hands dirty. As media started to go digital, my pencil became a mouse, but my projects still retain their analogic essence at present: I cannot resist the charm of the paper.
I love to immerse myself in nature and I love the energy that only human relationships can give you. People who know me are well aware that I enjoy writing birthday wishes in rhyme and drawing characters and caricatures. -

Born in 1988, I grew up in a stationer’s and book shop where I used to devour books, comics, magazines, newspapers and even labels. Year after year, I nourished my love for reading and I studied psychology, sociology, pedagogy and philosophy. I graduated in Communication Sciences in Verona, with a thesis on ethics in Italian journalism. After that, I pursued additional training in the field by working as a proof-reader for publishing houses and writing articles, interviews and reviews for magazines, local newspapers and blogs. I further expanded my set of skills by working in digital agencies, where my task was to manage the whole communication process behind complex projects.
Eventually, I arrived in webdada after crossing Italy by car from East to West.I was born in Veneto in the year of the Dragon, and from my land I inherited my strong practical attitude and learned the respect for the sweat of the brow. I worked as a waitress for more than ten years, and every new working experience helps my nature grow and develop. I am meticulous – nearly fussy – and responsible – almost paranoid. I am always happy to ask questions and to live the adrenaline of the all-hands-on-deck situations: I constantly keep an ear out for new stories to tell. I decided to work in creative agencies to improve my professional skills thanks to the continuous exchange and cooperation with my colleagues.
My mind feeds on travels, readings, quality food and country fairs. And now, it is filled with the sea as well. -

Following a degree in International and Diplomatic Studies with a thesis in Development Economics, a Master in Communication and the first working experiences in agencies, I became a journalist. I started to deal with the web during the transition from the analog to the digital world – it was back in 2005. A position as responsible of the corporate communication in a renowned Ski Resort in the Alps greatly boosted my professional growth. Once back in Genoa after two intense winter seasons, I further refined my skills in the diverse reality of the new media by working in one of the most important agencies in the city. In 2017, I joined webdada: here, my tasks include social media management, copywriting and SEO. I always try my best to give my personal contribution to every project we deal with.
Born between Liguria and Sardinia, I feel a strong link with the sea, the focaccia and the pesto. These are able to hold me here in Genoa thanks to some obscure magnetism. I love high quality wine from Italy or, at least, from right beyond the Alps - just like my wife. I like football, photography, riding my bicycle and the web. I hate to talk on the phone, even though my mobile is always in my hand: in case you have to tell me something, please send me an e-mail!

I am a Business & Life Coach and an expert in business and institutional communication. In my career, I planned and organised events and managed communication and press office activities for businessmen and firms. I worked together with major TV shows on La7 in Rome and Milan and with several editors. I love meditation, anthropology and sociology.
I am an inveterate cinephile: my omnivorous mind is attracted to any kind of movie. I follow the current news with great interest and am an active member of several associations. Thanks to several travels and to the many relocations I went through for work purposes (I'm not a fugitive!) I explored and experienced the world. The organic universe - and especially organic cosmetics - have no secrets from me.
The essentials in life? Living in the here and now. -

I was born in 1978 and after having studied foreign languages, I decided to devote my life to my thousand passions and interests: sound engineering, sound design, e-learning course design, hardcore travelling and now SEO (hardcore as well).
Father of a beautiful baby girl, in the (little) spare time I have, I enjoy listening to music - heavy if possible- and planning my next adventure.Curious for pleasure, learner by vocation, renaissance by nature.
If I lived a thousand times I would live a thousand different lives.
As a matter of fact new challenges spark my curiosity and if some new project comes up I just can’t rest until I get my hands dirty... it's also one of the reasons why I love SEO: there is always something new to learn, some new tool to try, some strategy to refine. In a nutshell, an ongoing challenge... exactly what I need! -

I have been at webdada since it was established . Here, I have developed my personal desk-walking management strategy. I regularly visit and inspect the working stations of my collaborators to check that everything is purrfect. If required, I can get my claws out. I am fully committed to my job, so much so that I live in the agency 24/7. You can find me on the armchair in the executive office, on the carpet in the meeting room, or hunting lizards out in the garden.
I am a self-made cat. Born from a humble family, I was adopted at a very young age, and I built my career on cunning and initiative. Shy and reserved by nature, I love sport hunting, design furniture and fish food. I am open-minded and I have a modern mentality. However, the other cats around here are better off at their own paces.

Web developer, system administrator and technology enthusiast. After spending a few years working as a programmer - and after being awarded several prizes in High School - I decided to specialise mainly in the development of web applications, without overlooking everything else. I really love my job: creating information tools that make it easier for people to deal with their everyday lives. I enjoy taking part into every single stage of the creative process, and witness the birth, growth and development of every project. I find it exciting, challenging and inspiring. I just started for fun and eventually I turned a hobby into my job.
After taking my first steps into the MS-DOS environment thanks to dad’s help, I soon started to explore the world of colours and windows. Driven by an unquenchable curiosity, I quickly learned all the things that now – together with some more knowledge and maturity – represent my profession. But in this field knowledge is never enough, and there is no limit to my curiosity: therefore, I always keep my skills up to date and continuously look for new and more efficient tools. I like to engage in new challenges, I hate to waste time and I love traveling, music, movies and quality food. I always surround myself with people full of life.

I attended the Liceo Classico and then I studied at the department of Humanities. I love cinema, theatre, listening to and composing music. And secondly, I like all the other arts. I constantly seek to improve my photography, shooting and video editing skills. I lived in Finland, Australia and Los Angeles, where I attended cinema courses at the University of California and in Hollywood.
I tend to be optimist, despite small doses of anxiety. Having many interests has constantly saved me from giving in to my constitutive laziness. Between a workout session and a dinner or a movie out, I dream of and plan my next trip around the world.

Most of the time, I am a PhD student in the UK, and I work on plant diseases. Whereas I have been attracted to biology since I was a little child, quite recently I developed an interest in foreign languages – mainly, as a consequence of travels and study periods abroad. Learning foreign languages helps me refining my communication skills and tools, which represent an asset in my profession. At the same time, it allows me to better interact with people of different nationalities around me. Last but not least, it excites me: grammar is fun, syntax compels me to modify my thought patterns and new terms provide me alternative ways to explore, interpret and describe the world. In process of constant enrichment.
My first word in Italian was "uva" (that is, "grapevine"). My very first English consisted in "cd" (at that time we used to work mainly with MS-DOS: "mouse" came slightly later). Honestly, I don’t remember the name of my first Indian food experience, but it was spicy indeed. My Latvian starts and ends with "paldies" ("thank you". I think), however Riga is a wonderful city. What I enjoy in languages are the grammar, the syntax, the sound and especially the untranslatable terms. On top of this, I like indulging myself with music, literature and cinema – much better when in the original language. Science is my job, and an old passion. I love cooking, travelling and people – all people, even those I prefer not to have anything to do with.

I am 30 years old and I have been working as a graphic designer for 10 years.
I learned this profession, along with all its pains and pleasures, just by working in the field. Following my Diploma at the "Paul Klee" Arts High School in Genoa, I started working as a fashion designer assistant and a graphic designer at Wonderful Italia, a casual clothing brand with a nationwide distribution. I worked as a creative designer and a pre-press operator in a prestigious printing house based in Liguria and Lombardia and specialized in art prints and high quality printing techniques. I am a freelancer as well and I work together with several companies in Liguria.I am like a volcano erupting pure energy, always in search for something new to foster my creativity.
I dance, act and sail. I offer my voice for charity works, I draw and I design tools and costumes for the theatre ... But above all, I am proud to be a graphic designer!
I can’t suffer limits and I love challenges: give me a laptop, Illustrator, a pencil and ... some hot glue, and together we will make dreams true! -

I live in Genoa, but in effect I am always on the road and in search for stories to tell. I have a PhD in Cultural Anthropology and a University Master Diploma in Global Journalism. Once I come across an intriguing story, I can study it for months or years and explore it twists and turns, before I bring it out into the open. But there are also stories lasting a few days, or hours, or even minutes: they become videos and immediately end up online. I love to play with words and voice: once I used to do radio, I may go back to that… Stay tuned!
I commute between Genoa and variable destinations in space-time. During my studies, I spent some time in Paris, some in Marseille and some backpacking around the world. From an academic perspective, even though my early studies were in philosophy, in a few years I became an urban anthropologist. Since then, I speak to everyone I meet around, I write down pages and pages of notes, ideas, doodles. Sometimes, these notes develop into articles on magazines or newspapers, some other times they become books. Or they grow into projects, events, or utopic plans. Sometimes, they just remain how they are. I love to cook for my friends and to find the necessary, precious time to enjoy life and good wine with them. Basically, I am always running ... but on heels!

I am a researcher at the Friedrich Schiller Universität Jena, where I teach in the Jena Center for Reconciliation Studies. As a member of an international and inter-disciplinary team, I work on conflict-resolution dynamics at the interpersonal, intercultural and international level. I have a PhD in Philosophy and I graduated with a thesis on Martin Buber, which was the result of a joint project involving Genoa and Tübingen Universities. To this author, I devoted much of my research, producing two monographs, a critical edition and several translations. Besides my scientific writing activity, I also work as a philosophical counselor – for individuals as well as companies – and I am currently exploring the potentiality of words by working as a storyteller and copywriter.
I live "in between" things. Between the Italian and the German languages – as well as between Italy (specifically, Liguria) and Germany. Between different cultures and types of knowledge. Between philosophy, that I teach at the University of Jena, and philosophical counseling for individuals and companies, that I practise as an associate of Phronesis and a co-founder of Lebenszeit. However, there is also something I live "within", and this is words. Written, spoken, translated words, as well as the "imaginary" ones.
